Abstract: The relationship between psychological empowerment and organizational identification is multifaceted and represents a crucial aspect of organizational behavior and psychology. The current study emphasizes the importance of psychological empowerment for employees at various management levels in public sector institutions. It highlights the necessity of enhancing its antecedents and components by promoting the employee's sense of competence and perception of the significance of their work and assigned tasks. Moreover, the study underscores the meaningful role that employees play and their ability to influence their work environment, which grants them a considerable degree of autonomy and independence. This, in turn, positively impacts their organizational identification, fostering a strong sense of belonging and alignment with the organization they work for, along with the adoption and defense of its beliefs and values. These findings align with the existing theoretical literature and previous studies, which demonstrate that psychological empowerment positively influences individuals' psychological states and their work experiences. It strikes a balance between their personal values and organizational values, resulting in a shared sense of purpose. Overall, psychological empowerment creates a flexible, committed, cohesive, and harmonious human workforce that strongly aligns with the organization.</description>

The study sample included all Palestinian and Bahraini universities, and the number of collected and valid questionnaires reached For analysis (29) questionnaire. Using a set of statistical measures, the study found modest indicators of higher education governance in universities. Palestinian and Bahraini universities, and found a positive relationship between the level of higher education governance and support for scientific research efforts in these universities, and accordingly The study presented a set of recommendations.</description>

Abstract: The study aimed to identify the importance of using mergers and acquisitions strategies in order &#xD;
to strengthen and modernize the banking industry, Through evaluation and analysis of the &#xD;
results of the merged Palestinian banks, by using the descriptive analytical approach as well as &#xD;
the inductive and deductive approach. The study concluded that the circulars issued by the &#xD;
Palestine Monetary Authority mainly which relate to the raising of the minimum paid -up &#xD;
capital of local banks had a positive role in and was the main motivation towards these &#xD;
mergers and acquisitions. The mergers and acquisition that took place in the Palestinian banking &#xD;
sector had resulted in a significant improvement in data and financial indicators as well as the &#xD;
competitiveness of domestic merged banks and reflected positively on the national economy. &#xD;
Based on these results, the study recommended the need to redouble the efforts of the Palestine &#xD;
Monetary Authority by using literary persuasion at certain times, and through the development of &#xD;
laws and regulations that encourage and stimulate mergers and acquisition to create stronger &#xD;
banking entities that are capable of facing the challenges of competition and financial crises and &#xD;
other banking risks, at other times. Moreover, national banks and large-scale expatriate must play &#xD;
a more active role in the process of economic development and work to maximize their &#xD;
economic role and expand the value of productive projects that require large funding through &#xD;
granting syndicated loans and establishing joint ventures.</description>

Abstract: This study aims to examine market power theories and their role in explaining the &#xD;
performance of the insurance industry in Palestine with the presence of the mediating role of net working &#xD;
capital. Based on the data available for (7) companies during the period (2010-2020), and using standard &#xD;
Models; Market power theories are able to explain the returns of the Palestinian insurance sector. &#xD;
Accordingly, these results deny the influence of monopoly in the structure of the insurance sector on the &#xD;
performance of these companies, and the impact of traditional efficiency on its performance. The &#xD;
insurance sector in Palestine is characterized by acceptable competitiveness, and this is confirmed by the &#xD;
pivotal role of net working capital in enhancing the returns of these companies. The study recommends &#xD;
the need for insurance companies to focus on enhancing their operational capabilities and directing the &#xD;
largest volume of their growing assets to support working capital. This leads to achieve prominent role &#xD;
in the performance of this industry. The future research remains on identifying the role of economic &#xD;
efficiency theories in explaining the returns of the insurance sector in Palestine</description>
