Abstract: The aim of this study was to investigate the degree of commitment towards the ethics of the profession of the faculty members of PTUK from the points of view of students, and to identify the effect of variable such as sex, college ,and the year of study; the questionnaire of this study consisted of (45) items dived into three domains: professional responsibility, social responsibility, and moral responsibility; for the sample of this study that consisted of (255) students of both the College of applied Sciences and the college of Arts and Educational Sciences. Results of this study indicated that the domain of moral responsibility is the highest in rank, the professional responsibility domain the second in rank, and the social responsibility was the third in rank; results of this study indicated the existence of statistical differences of the university teacher’s commitment towards the ethics of the profession related to the variable of sex in favor of females, and, by the same token, in favor of the College of Arts and Educational Sciences. The results of this study also showed no significant statistical difference due to the variable of the year of study. The researchers recommend that university teachers' professional capabilities in the field of modern technological methods should be developed accordingly; the researchers recommend developing new methods and modes of presenting the educational material while updating these from time to time; the researchers also recommend paying more attention to equipping the university teacher with methods of supervision that enables them to cope with the students' educational problems while choosing the appropriate specializations and majors.
