dc.description.abstractthe aim of this study was to identify the relationship between subjective vitality and concept of self among the Palestinian junior national team, and the differences according to position in the field (defender, midfield, striker, goalkeeper), the research sample consisted of (23) players who participated in west Asia champion in 2021,the study used the descriptive “survey’ method. To achieve the aims of the study, a questionnaire was distributed that included the scale of subjective vitality (Ryan &Fredrick,1997),and self-concept( prepared by the researcher ).the results showed that the subjective vitality was very high and the ranking of self-concept dimensions at junior soccer players as follows :social self-(2.77)physical self -(2.48),and emotion self-(2.46),the results also showed that there were strong positive relationship between positive virility and self-concept and there were significant statistically differences in this relationship according to player position in the field toward defender players. The study recommended that it is necessary to be attention to the development of positive self concept by sports federations and extending bridges of cooperation between technical departments and coaches in order to enhance self-vitalization.en_US
