Abstract: The study aimed to reveal the attitudes of parents of secondary school students towards enrolling their children in the Israeli curriculum in East Jerusalem schools by researching the motives and reasons. The attitudes of the students' parents towards teaching their children the Israeli curricula were examined according to gender variables, educational qualification, type of secondary education certificate and the economic level of the parents. To verify the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical method, where a random sample of (143) was targeted, a questionnaire collected from a total of 2500. To ensure the suitability of the questionnaire to the research objectives, it was judged before the distribution process. The questionnaire was analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program, where the descriptive data were presented and the arithmetic means and standard deviations were calculated. The attitudes of parents depend on two fields, the nature of the school relying on “the Israeli curriculum opens an opportunity for the student to choose a major that keeps pace with scientific progress in society.” As for the second field for choosing the Israeli curriculum, it is due to the nature of the curriculum, justifying that the school meets the students’ trends to advance to a variety of disciplines. The study showed that there are significant differences Statistic at the level of (α≤0.05( due to the gender variables in favor of females, and the educational qualification in favor of the bachelor’s degree, and the type of secondary school certificate of the guardian in favor of international curricula. And the average monthly income infavor of between (10000-20000NIS). The study recommended the importance of reconsidering the Palestinian curricula and their development in line with the labor market and scientific development, and allocating the necessary budgets by the Palestinian National Authority to confront Challenges related to the education sector in East Jerusalem.
