Abstract: | The study aims to assess the effectiveness of administrative coordination between the Palestinian Red Crescent Society and the government hospitals in Gaza Strip, and to assess the impact of coordination on the quality of health services provided to patients in Gaza City and the Northern Gaza Strip. The researchers used the descriptive and analytical method of the data collected from the questionnaire. The number of questionnaires distributed to all study population reached (167), where(152) questionnaires were received with a response rate of (91%). The data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical analysis program. The results of the study showed that administrative coordination was of relative weight (58.83%) and the level of coordination between institutions was with relative weight (59.17%). This was followed by the type of coordination in the second rank with relative weight (58.45%). The quality of health services provided to patients in health institutions also was of relative weight (69.57%). The results also showed a positive correlation between the effectiveness of administrative coordination and the quality of health services. The most important recommendations of the study were: preparing an integrated plan for administrative coordination between the Ministry of Health and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society to control the coordination process and its levels, and preparing clear funding policies to support the outcomes of coordination meetings between government hospitals and the Red Crescent Society. |
