Abstract: This study aimed at identifying the impact of using an educational tool on the level of performance and retention of learning some ground movements in gymnastics among the students of the basic stage in Aqaba directorate of education. The researcher used the experimental approach due to its compatibility to the study nature and objectives. The study sample consisted of (30) students from the lower basic stage, who were divided into two equal groups: experimental and control, with (15) students in each group. The proposed educational program was applied to the experimental group by using the educational aid, while the control group applied the usual way of teaching. (SPSS) was used for data analysis. The results showed that the educational tool has a positive impact on the level of performance and the level of retention of learning some ground movements in gymnastics among the students of the basic stage in Aqaba directorate of education. The results revealed that using the electronic programs and integrating them in the educational process enhances the level of retention among learners, especially in the basic school stages. The study recommended the necessity of focusing on using the assisting educational methods which provide more fun and enjoyment.
